Rodrigues has played 25 T20Is for India and has scored 608 runs so far.

Jemimah Rodrigues, India's top-order batter, has been signed by the Kia Super League franchise Yorkshire Diamonds for the 2019 season. The 18-year old is the third Indian player to feature in the league after Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur.

Rodrigues has played 25 T20Is for the country scoring 608 runs. She notched up her highest score of 72 in the shortest format versus New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland in February this year. Rodrigues also took part in the Women's T20 Challenge in May, where she played for Supernovas and ended up with 123 runs.

The 18-year-old had made her way into the Indian squad for the limited overs series versus South Africa last year on the back of a fine domestic season where she accumulated 1013 runs at an average of 112.56 in the inter-state Under-19 tournament.

Yorkshire Diamonds finished a lowly fifth in the 2018 season with three wins to their name.
