Hafeez is expected to join the Lord's based county ahead of their Blast game against Essex on August 14.
Middlesex have signed Pakistan international Mohammad Hafeez on a three-match short-term deal as replacement for AB de Villiers, who has taken a short break from the ongoing T20 Blast. He is, however, expected to re-join the county ahead of their penultimate league game against Hampshire on August 29.

A key all-rounder for his national side, Hafeez, was part of Pakistan's 2019 World Cup campaign but has since not been offered a new contract by the national board. The 38-year-old all-rounder has retired from Test cricket but has indicated that he's available for selection in the shorter formats. Recently, he was part of the Edmonton Royals in the recently concluded Global T20 League in Brampton, Canada.
Hafeez is expected to join the Lord's based county ahead of their Blast game against Essex on August 14. Middlesex are currently second to Surrey with 12 points from 9 games in the South Group and are primed to reach the quarterfinals with five more matches remaining.
