Still at an early age and very early into his cricketing career, Tom Fell, has successfully fought bigger battles in life - none bigger then coming out unscathed after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. His treatment included rounds of chemotherapy after medical reports confirmed his tumor in 2015. A childhood prodigy, Fell had shown promise from the school levels itself. Playing for Oakham school, he broke all the records in school cricket and impressed everyone when he played for Oxford MCCU. Even at times of adversity, as when Worcestershire faced - when they were relegated from Division One - in 2015, Fell impressed, being the only batsman to cross 1000 runs for the season. Returning from cancer treatment, Fell struggled in the 2017 season, but for a man who has fought bigger dangers, the lack of runs from his blade will not be too concerning.
